A Message From Grady Avery:

The world lost a bright light when Julie Suggs passed away in 2003. Julie and I first performed together during the summer of 1997. In the years to follow our professional relationship grew into a beautiful friendship on and off stage. Time cannot erase the indelible mark Julie has left in my mind and heart. It is my sincere conviction as the NTRANZE Band Manager that the world never forget Julie Suggs. I dedicate these pages to Austin D. W. Suggs, son of Philip and Julie Suggs. May the legacy grow strong and continue to shine.

The local community came together in an unprecedented event held on June 8, 2003, at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC.  We gathered to memorialize, celebrate and honor the amazing life of Julie Suggs. Family, friends, colleagues and even passerby’s joined in fond dedication during an all day musical fund raiser.

 The very best local entertainers were present to give homage to one so dearly recognized as their own.  Prominent musicians also traveled from
South Florida and as far north as West Virginia to show support. NTRANZE was there among the many talented performers who had worked with or known Julie throughout her exceptional career.

Without the selfless efforts given by the numerous special organizers, this event would not have occurred.  On behalf of Julie’s husband, Philip Suggs and everyone touched by her radiant spirit, we sincerely thank you.  In loving memory NTRANZE gladly pays tribute to Julie Suggs, our beloved angel and eternal friend.
