What
does the band name
NTRANZE mean to you?
|
When the
band is playing and
really locked in, our
vibe sucks the audience
in perfectly.
|
|
|
When
performing live with
NTRANZE what music styles
excite you?
|
I really
enjoy the funky material
we play.
|
|
|
What
are your favorite cover
songs that NTRANZE plays
funky?
|
There are so
many great songs that we
cover. In order to
simplify I will just say
I like the James Brown,
Ohio Players, and Earth
Wind, and Fire stuff.
These songs have
unbeatable grooves.

|
Where
do you see yourself in
five years and what
vehicles are you driving?
|
In five
years I would like to
acknowledge my success as
a song writer and a
performer. I hope that
the GMC Pickup Truck I
currently drive will
undergo an upgrade.
|
|
|
What
inspires you to create
original music?
|
That is a
tough question to answer
because my inspiration
for songwriting can come
from anything or
anywhere. Usually ideas
just pop into my head. I
can see something happen
or someones
communication sparks my
creativity. There are
moments when I hear
nothing at all. I wish I
could isolate where my
musical ideas come from,
however, I remain content
with the unfolding
mystery.

|
|
Do
you have favorite
original songs that you
have written?
|
Yes,
What About Me
is a song most people can
identify with easily.
Rainbows
Gold is an
instrumental tune that
Steve Vai liked a lot. I
absolutely love the
groove and vibe that is
flowing through this
piece. I wrote a Metal
song called Jaded,'
again I really like the
groove, the overall
heaviness, and the
meaning behind the
lyrics.
|
|
|
How
do you classify your
original music?
|
I honestly
do not think my music
fits into any one
category. I tend to write
a variety of music, from
Metal to not so Metal and
from Jazzy to Funky.
There is no real rhyme or
reason for my channeling
of certain chords or
lyrics. I simply write
what comes out.

If
you could play any venue
in the world, where would
you choose?
|
My mind
instantly wants to choose
the Capitol Center in
Washington, DC because as
a kid I saw so many
concerts there. However,
in 2001 the city tore
down this great
entertainment monument.
Playing the legendary
Madison square Garden in
New York City is an
appealing choice.

|
What
forms of relaxation do
you welcome?
|
I thoroughly
enjoy messing around on
the computer, chilling
with my beautiful wife or
just hanging when
relaxing.
|
|
|
What
is your vision of success
and how can it help the
world?
|
My vision
for success entails total
self sufficiency while
doing something I love to
do. I believe everyone
has a passion. My passion
is music. Earning my keep
from doing that one thing
is definitely my vision
of success. If more
people utilized their
passion within their own
lives the world will have
less unhappy people
occupying space and would
that not help the world?
