I started playing at age twelve. Inspired by strong parental support I never looked back. Throughout the mid to late nineties I won numerous county and state band awards, including a ‘Marshall University Musical Scholarship.’

In 1995 my professional career took flight when I joined Andrew Thielen Big Band, founded by a former Glen Miller drummer. Honing my craft with several bands since affords me great opportunities. Performances with legendary jazz musicians include: Terry Gibbs, Conrad Herwig, Jerry Coker, Dennis DiBlasio and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

I stay excited to be a part of the energized NTRANZE lineup. When I see the audience having a good time, I am truly at my best.
